MEET KODA
The Cairn Terrier Club of Canada/Ontario Rescue has a very nice cairn
terrier who is ready to go to his own home. He is just over one year old,
and has been in our care since he was 5-1/2 months old when he was released
to Rescue because his owner couldn't handle him. He had been allowed to
think he was The Boss and was acting accordingly! He was neutered and placed in a foster home where he has been taught manners, house training and sociability. He has completed a course of obedience training and he loved every minute of it - he would make a fantastic performance sports dog, i.e. Rally, Agility, etc. Koda needs a strong-minded owner who will always reinforce the rules so that he doesn't slip back into his naughty old ways. He is a friendly dog, a little excitable but he is still young and he will settle down as he matures. It is probably best there are no young children in the family - say over the age of 10 would be appropriate. Koda is a handsome young fellow, wheaten, good coat, accustomed to hand stripping - he is a totally different dog from the youngster who came to us. His foster parents have worked miracles with him but cannot keep him much longer - they have two cairns of their own and 2 dogs is the limit where they live. Koda is super affectionate, very athletic and loves to play, can perform a bunch of tricks and loves to chat and have his belly rubbed. PLEASE help us find a good home for Koda - for more information call Linda Kettlewell 905-459-2601 or Barbara Nielsen 519-886-1282 |

MEET CHARLIE For all he has been through his whole life, Charlie has not lost his love of life and people...he is an absolute sweetheart who loves to snuggle and be petted, his tail never stops wagging. He walked into my house and immediately made friends with my dogs, and they accepted him. He is very clean and has had no accidents in the house. Charlie is very affectionate and good natured, but would probably be better on his own in a home with no other dogs. Being the only pet would give Charlie the security and attention he needs. He is a very clean little dog and in good health despite the need for Atopica for a skin condition that has cleared up beautifully. The ideal adoptive home for Charlie would be a retired person or couple who would have the time to give him the attention and care that he deserves and needs. If you think you can help Charlie or would like more information on this dear little dog, please contact : Linda Kettlewell at 905-459-2601 linwell@sympatico.ca 519-886-1282 dancairn@rogers.com |
